ELSLS Sign is a document signing service operated by Empowered Living SLS. By using it to send or sign a document, you agree to these terms.
Sending documents is limited to authorized Empowered Living SLS staff with an account. Anyone invited by email may sign a document sent to them. You must be at least 18 years old to sign.
You agree that signing electronically has the same legal effect as signing on paper, consistent with the federal ESIGN Act and the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. When you complete and submit a document, you are signing it.
Signing electronically is voluntary. If you would prefer to sign a paper copy instead, contact us before completing the document and we will arrange it. You may also request a paper copy of anything you have signed.
To use the service you need a current web browser, a working email address, and a device that can view PDF documents. Keep your email account secure, since access to it allows access to the documents sent to you.
You agree that the information you enter is accurate and that you are signing as yourself, or as someone authorized to sign on behalf of an organization. Do not sign on behalf of another person without authority to do so.
Each completed document is stored with an audit trail showing the date, time, and IP address of each action. This record is kept to demonstrate the document's validity and may be produced if a signature is ever questioned.
Do not use the service to send unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful material, to impersonate anyone, or to attempt to gain access to documents or accounts that are not yours. We may suspend access if the service is misused.
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or issues with providers outside our control may cause downtime. If the service is unavailable when you need to sign, contact us and we will make other arrangements.
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Empowered Living SLS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
